Anybody wanna save some money on rent? (Because can we just say, Nashville housing costs are insane y’all.
) Come live with me, my husband and my newborn baby boy! We’re getting a two bedroom apartment on the southside of Nashville, maybe Brentwood, Cane Ridge, or Antioch.
You’d have your own room, your own private bath, and then we’d all share the kitchen/dining/living room.
The apartment will charge some $ for application for you (because that’s policy, and we’re going to keep everything above board) and a $57 application from us (just to pay a website to make sure you aren’t a serial killer, lol).
And we are open to discussing short term.
If you want to commit long term, we can split costs more evenly.
For short term situations, you’ll pay a little more.
About us? Well, I think we are pretty cool.
We cook 2-3 meals a day and always clean up after every meals.
We are definitely on the clean side.
We like rollerblading, board games, and spending time with family.
After a long day of work we might hole up in our room and just cocoon.
So we’re good with roommates who want to be friends, and also good with roommates who have their social needs met and just want a safe, clean, peaceful place to cocoon at with little to no connecting with roommates.
My husband and I have had roommates for 95% of our 8 year marriage, so we’re good at being flexible and finding ways to help us all fit in together, even with different lifestyles, habits, walks of life, anything.
We love living with pets (but don’t have any), we don’t smoke (don’t mind if you smoke as long as you keep the smoke outside, 420 friendly) and we don’t drink more than a few times a year (also don’t mind if you do!).
We’re moving on December 31, and are considering a number of apartments in Antioch that have low prices and decent reviews: (prices listed are the *lowest* the place offers, and doesn’t include utilities) Waterford Crossings ($1560) Arbors of Brentwood ($1560) Pinnacle Heights ($1700) Abington Heights ($1750) The Saxony ($1560) Let’s talk and see if you have any preference.
Costs TLDR: Apartment application fee per adult $75-$200 Background Check $57 Rent and utilities: $800-$1200 Deposit: $1200-$1800 so if this is a barrier for you, we are open to discussing options.
(If you have pets, you can pay the apartments pet fee and/or deposit).
