*Position Summary:* The *Clinical Therapist* will oversee the therapeutic services provided to a caseload of residents.
This individual will act as the treatment plan coordinator for the multi-disciplinary team in the development and implementation of the master treatment plan and the discharge plan for each resident.
They will provide individual, group and family therapy for assigned residents at Hermitage Hall as required by contractual and licensure obligations.
They will also participate in subsequent treatment planning, risk management assessment and aftercare / discharge planning.
They will actively communicate with staff, treatment teams, and outside agencies on treatment and safety issues pertaining to residents and their family members / caregivers / placement options.
They will complete all documentation associated with these duties in a professional and timely manner.
This individual will provide outside consultation services, as required.
The facilitation and fostering of positive relationships with referral sources and other outside agencies is vitally important.
*Responsibilities* * Demonstrates skill in counseling, interviewing, and assisting residents during individual sessions * Demonstrates group therapy skills * Demonstrates ability to engage families as evident by active participation and establishing mutual goals.
* Does everything within the therapist’s control to be successful in discharging residents by projected discharge date.
* Schedules and conducts individual therapy with each resident.

com *Education/Training:* * Minimum of a Master’s Degree in the social services field *Experience:* * Minimum of two years experience working with emotionally disturbed individuals preferred, and preferably in a residential juvenile sex offender setting.
*CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS* Licensed, or license-eligible, by the State of Tennessee in the mental health field, such as LPC, LPE, LCSW, LMFT etc.
