Responsibilities
Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues
Establishing appropriate frequency to perform regular preventive maintenance activities on equipment in the facility
Performing timely facility maintenance and repairs while maintaining a clean and safe work area
Dismantling defective equipment and installing new or repaired equipment
Maintaining accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs
Coordinating and making recommendations on work-related contracts and services
Supervising outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance
Participating, supporting, and complying with all health, safety, quality, and lean initiatives and requirements
Perform common building maintenance such as mowing, edging, blowing, trimming, and window cleaning
Perform common building repairs such as plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, carpentry, and doors/windows
Qualifications
Must have mechanical and technical aptitude
1-3 years experience in an industrial or commercial maintenance environment
Ability to use basic measurement instruments such as tape measure, scales, and gauges
Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 80 lbs
Lift operations certified and ability to safely operate mower and other landscape equipment
Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems
Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry
