Job Summary: Technology Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing all warehouse inventory levels while achieving the company’s service level goal, assisting in training personnel on inventory handling, and overseeing workflow and warehouse functions when Warehouse Logistics Manager is unavailable.
Job duties include but limited to · Logistics facility duties which include managing ongoing shipment and receival of equipment in timely fashion, documentation of tickets' progress and closures, and management of facility inventory.
· Implements and supports the broadest range of SSC-based IT&S equipment, including but not limited to network equipment, personal computers, printers, cabling, related software products · Provides advanced, hands-on technical support across a broad range of technical user problems; repairs equipment and performs preventative maintenance Maintain accurate inventory levels with an emphasis on service levels and inventory turns · Utilize system reports and knowledge of warehouse activities to maintain accurate inventory records · Communicate all significant inventory information to the Manager and/or team lead to help facilitate shortage detection · Evaluate inventory levels, making adjustments to inventory min/max levels, safety stock, lead times and inventory formulas to ensure sufficient supply to meet customer’s needs while maintaining targeted inventory turns · Interface with and propose solutions to the Manager regarding all issues relating to inventory · Review and analyze all changes to product conversions, deletions, and additions to determine impact on inventory requirements · Ensure warehouse storage areas are clean and organized, maintain office supply inventory · Maintain effective communication with customers, co-workers, and other team members · Provide leadership to perform physical inventory counts during annual inventory Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors: · Adaptability – Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibilities or environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.

· Work Standards – Setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed.
Education: · High School Diploma Required · Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Healthcare Administration or similar Preferred Experience: · Three to five (3-5) years of material management distribution management experience or equivalent experience Required · Warehouse distribution experience Preferred Candidates to be consider for role must already live in the Greater Nashville, TN area as this position is in office Monday – Friday.
