Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care
- Administer injections and medications as directed by medical staff
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with physical examinations and procedures
- Collect and document patient information, including medical history and symptoms
- Perform venipuncture and phlebotomy for blood tests
- Provide care for patients of all ages, including children
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Assist with patient service activities, such as answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Assist with IV infusion under the supervision of a registered nurse
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent experience
- Experience administering injections and performing venipuncture
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and documentation
- Ability to accurately take and record vital signs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
