RN Critical Care

Summary * Department: Intensive Care Unit * Shift Timings: 18:45-07:15 Monday to friday.
(3 Days/12 Hours) * Per Week: 36 Hours * Unit Capacity: 42 Beds Population Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+) Ages of Patients Served: Patients with the following diagnosis: Chest pain, post kidney transplant, acute renal failure, congestive heart failure, GI bleed, pneumonia, myocardial infarction, pulmonary disease with or without mechanical ventilation, thoracic and/or other surgical procedures in patients with comorbidities, drug and/or ETOH withdrawal.
Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:2​ Roles & Responsibilities * ​Providing nursing care to acutely or critically ill patients with an assigned unit or clinic; * Implementing medical care plans; * Directing and supervising the patient care provided by nursing personnel assigned to the unit; * Maintaining standard unit activities in the absence of the Head Nurse; and * Performing other related duties as assigned/required.
