Healthcare Provider Solutions’ core services include home care & hospice billing and collections, receivable collection projects, clinical compliance chart reviews, operational reviews, and education through seminars and webinars.
We are in Nashville, TN near the airport.
Our Company is seeking a full-time *Medical Biller *who will be on the Home Health Billing team and reports directly to the Senior Home Health Billing and Collections Supervisor.
This is an entry level position- MUST live in or around Nashville.
We are located right by the Nashville Airport!
Hybrid Schedule available after introductory period (work from home 3 days per week)
*Responsibilities & Expectations*
· Performs billing processes (cash posting, collecting, etc.
) for multiple clients
· Continuous training in home health and billing/reimbursement
· Communicates directly with the Senior Home Health Billing and Collections Supervisor on any issues with billing and processes
· NOA, Cash Postings, Hold Issues, Billing, and Rejection/Denials
*Requirements:*
* Billing knowledge specifically in home health experience preferred, but not required
* Experience with Medicare DDE system preferred
* Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills (must be able to read, write, and follow directions in English)
· High School Diploma required
* Ability to utilize Microsoft Office efficiently, including Outlook (email and calendar), and Excel is a must
* Must have knowledge of basic math skills and basic computer skills
* Knowledge of how to use a phone line system, copier/scanner, fax, and email is a must
* Must be able to sit for at least eight hours per day and look at a computer screen
*Compensation and Benefits*
· 40 hours/week, full time, non-exempt position, office hours are M-F, 8 AM - 4:30 PM CST (30-minute lunch break).
· Paid Time Off (PTO; starts accruing day one and is available for use following the first of the month after the probationary period of 60 days)
· 11 paid holidays off per calendar year
· 2 Floating Holidays per year
