Lead Optometry Tech / Eyecare Assistant / Ophthalmic Technician

*Anderson Eyecare* is seeking a full-time Lead Optometric Tech - Eyecare Assistant (or possibly cross-trained Optician) for our Hermitage, Tennessee location.
Responsibilities include gathering patient medical history, conducting diagnostic testing, helping patients with insertion and removal of contact lenses, sterilizing instruments, explaining insurance benefits to patients, and communicating with doctors, staff, and patients.
In addition, responsibilities may also include traditional front office responsibilities including answering phones, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, and check-in/check-out activities.
