Registered Sleep Technologist

Responsibilities Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies.
• Prepare patient and equipment for ordered testing.
• Interview patient to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedure.
• Perform and document testing.
• Monitor patient throughout testing and intervene as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues.
• Collect, analyze andintegrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs; score, interpret and report results of sleep studies.
• Prepare, calibrate, repair and maintain equipment required for testing.
• Determine andreport neededrepairs/replacements.
Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transter date required.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Reg Polysomnographic Tchnigst credentialed from the Tennessee Polysomnography Professional Standards Committee obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education: • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific expe Job Types: Full-time, PRN Pay: $27.
