Business Operations Manager

The Business Operations Analyst plays a administrative and strategic role within an assigned Business Unit (BU).
Reporting to the General Manager of the business unit, the Business Unit Operations Analyst works closely, and independently, with all department leaders, performing hands-on operational activities, such as: partnering on day-to-day people matters, practice operations, financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
We are looking for a hands-on operational and financial management professional, comfortable playing a lead role in the management, reporting, and analysis of their business unit throughout the organization.
Job Type · Full-Time · Hybrid (after onboarding period) · Some travel may be required; 4-8 times per year · Based out of SDB basecamp location in Nashville, TN Responsibilities (Execute, Decide, & Recommend) · Responsible for working with Business Unit Leadership to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.
· Responsible for the administrative oversight related to Payroll and Financial management for top quartile performing Practices.
· Leads efforts to identify best practices.
· Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required for implementation of best practices and/or new processes.
· Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
· Designs methods for integrating function and process.
· Conducts cost/benefit analyses.
· Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.
· Facilitates and coordinates annual planning process for the business unit.
· Facilitates identification of leadership's priorities and establishment of goals.
· Develops plan and maps to help reach goals and educates key stakeholders in use of these tools.
· Oversees utilization of additional management tools and processes.
· Other duties as assigned.
Organizational Alignment: · Reports to: General Manager · Oversees: Top Quartile Performing Practices · Other Key Relationships: Finance Director(s), Regional Directors, and Practice Office Managers, Partner Doctors, and other key members of Basecamp (corporate) Team Requirements: Required Minimum Qualifications · A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
· 2+ years of progressive roles in either multi-site Healthcare Operations, Finance, or Accounting.
· Strong analytical mindset with ability to effectively translate data into actionable insights, strategies, and plans depending on their audience.
· Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and manage complex projects across multiple teams.
· Flexibility and prioritization in juggling both long-term, strategic projects and ad hoc, urgent requests as needed in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications · 5+ years of progressive growth in corporate multi-site Healthcare Operations, Finance, or Accounting.
· Past experience dealing with multi-site healthcare businesses.
