Supervisor

Title: Pharmacy Tech Supervisor - Pharmacy Location: Maury Regional Medical Center Position Shift: FT 8a-4:30p Position Summary: The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor works closely with the Pharmacy Manager and Director of Pharmacy organizing technical support in the department.
Responsibilities include: interviews and selects prospective Pharmacy technicians, oversees training of new Pharmacy technicians, schedules technicians to meet staffing needs of the department, supervises technician daily assignments and makes adjustments as necessary, participates in technician annual evaluations with Pharmacy Manager.
The Supervisor also communicates technician concerns to Manager or Director as they arise, implements and communicates process changes affecting technician staff.
They will perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Pharmacy Director or Manager.
The Technician Supervisor is primarily responsible for performing routine tasks in the unit dose distribution program, I.
V.
admixture program, and all other aspects of in-patient operations.
