Organization: Critical Care Transport Job Summary: JOB SUMMARY Independently works off assessment skills to activate patient care protocols to deliver patient care within his/her full scope of practice as defined by the state of Tennessee and LifeFlight's scope of practice.
Maintains compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Required High School Diploma/GED TN AEMT License KY EMT License (or in process) NREMT BLS Emergency Vehicle Operations Training and VFK training is required (Can be taken during the orientation period) PHTLS (required within first year of employment) Active Driver's License from state of residence NIMS IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800 Preferred One year of relevant AEMT experience (or equivalent) Position – Shift Sign on and relocation bonus eligible for new hires.
Full-Time Night Shift Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week Job Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operates Vanderbilt Licensed ambulances while responding to emergent and non-emergent transports.
Administers prompt and efficient basic life support care within the limits of licensure or certification.
Conducts regular unit inventory and equipment testing to ensure all equipment is present, clean, and in proper working order.
Communicate/collaborates effectively to meet patient and team needs.
Performs and documents safe, efficient, and accurate transport dispatch information.
Assists with patient care and transfers to designated patient care areas within scope of practice.
Complete documentation of transports/patient care performed using Vanderbilt and Unit specific compliance policy.
