KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Strategic Talent Process Enablement to join our Human Resources organization.
Responsibilities: Collaborate and partner with other members of the functional Strategic Talent Process Enablement team, functional HRBA peers, PRG, F&A, Resource Management, Total Rewards and Practice Operations to support major processes/projects for the team, including processes such as performance development, compensation, and promotion processes; begin to propose process improvements and solutions Serve as technical resource on various partner and employee tools; respond to inquiries from end users, including HRBA team members, PRG, and other HR colleagues, and provide counsel and advice on solving problems with moderate complexity Complete moderate to complex analyses, and based on results of analyses, proactively offers solutions, process efficiencies and/or improvements to the project lead / PML Consider various possibilities, alternatives and approaches using independent judgement and presenting detailed information to the supervising project lead for review and consideration; may oversee the work of and provide guidance to junior staff and certain areas of process or process timeline to keep them moving Qualifications: Minimum three years of recent relevant HR experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in human resource management, organizational development or business administration or relevant work experience Intermediate understanding of HR principles; foundational knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations preferred; knowledge of PeopleSoft; proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SuccessFactors knowledge a plus Able to build and maintain relationships with the firm’s partners and employees; capability to develop clear and concise written communications and prepare performance documentation; possess strong problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as foundational presentation and facilitation skills Ability to work independently and will be accountable for defined project roles within a larger scope project, process, or program, ultimately reporting directly to their PML in most situations Proven ability to organize and manage personal workload over the long term to meet deliverable expectations effectively KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
