We're a mushroom farm seeking a Farmers Market operator to run a booth at Local TN markets (Westhaven, Nolensville, Beechgrove).
This is a part time role that will pay $17/hr on the dates and times listed below.
You will pick up mushrooms from our farm in Beechgrove TN and be trained on how to run a market, engage customers, and develop valuable sales/interpersonal skills.
The role is part-time, entailing 6-8 hours on Wednesdays and Saturdays through the end of 2023.
You must be available on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings weekly through December 2023.
We will provide all materials needed.
Qualifications:
Reliable, organized, and easy to work with
Comfortable communicating with and relating to farmers market shoppers
Clean record and preferred prior experience in a customer facing role
Excitement about healthy, sustainable foods!
Responsibilities:
Drive to Beechgrove TN to pick up market materials and mushrooms
Arrive in a timely manner to set up a market boothMake engaging conversation with market customers
Drop off materials and leftovers after market closing
